Royal Mail Alternatives for Parcels and Deliveries

The Royal Mail, and the Postal Workers seem set to lead us towards an autumn of postal delivery chaos.

  • Your customers judge your business on the ability to get orders delivered. Customers are very unforgiving when it comes to postal delays, they expect the businesses to be proactive, to use alternatives, and to get the products delivered no matter what.
  • Ebay has now made sellers responsible for the products up to the point of delivery.  This means that YOU can get your DSr's marked down if you send parcels with the Royal Mail and they get held up in mail strikes.
  • There are alternatives, and your customers and buyers expect you to use them.

Parcels booked with Parcels Please go through Interlink and UPS delivery services, they are not impacted in anyway by the strikes, delays and backlogs with the Royal Mail or Parcel force. If you're sending a parcel of more than 5kg in weight, then Parcels Please is also cheaper than the Royal Mail.

To keep up to date with the local strikes, delays and disruption within the Post Office, check out their customer service website
