This exposes the courier to risk. Customers may have ordered something that doesn't fit, is not of the condition they expect, or plainly and simply, is just not to their liking. And disagreements between customer and seller frequently end up with the courier being caught up in the crossfire, and being blamed for something that simply isn't their fault.
The system that Boxby and The Podfather have put together means that couriers can take photographs of the item as they load, we strongly recommend doing this whenever an item is obviously damaged or not in good condition. These photos are then sent to the customer with a proof of collection. Boxby will hold tracking details for the item, so that the customer knows whether its with the seller, or has been collected and is in transit. When the item is delivered additional photos can be taken if required, and a proof of delivery is sent to the customer.
